It that time again!

Its that time again where you see that beautiful snow falling down as you are going to bed, then in the morning you get to scrap your car off because the snow has now turned to ice.

It is that time again where you have to be careful where you step outside because it may be your last step without any bruises from slipping on ice.

It is that time again where you have to get all bundled up to go outside so you don't get icicles hanging from your nose or ears.

Now it may sound like I don't like Christmas, and I will have to admit it isn't my favorite holiday. But I really do like Christmas time.

It is that time of year where i get to hold on to grandmas arm as we are walking outside to make sure she doesn't fall.

It is that time of year when all the family gathers round to listen to the Christmas story.

It is that time of year when we get to do all of our family traditions.

It is that time of year when mom makes all of those wonderful snacks.

This past week that I was in Logan before Christmas break we had a lot of testimonies in church. One of the boys got up and said if you take out the last syllable in Christmas you are left with Christ. I thought that was the coolest thing, and Christ is who we really should be thinking about this wonderful season. I began this season thinking more about Christ and his birth and everything he has done for me and I am already having a better out look. I am so thankful for Christ and everything that he has done for me and I am thankful that we have these kinds of seasons that we can really focus on him. Today in church one of the speakers said that the reason righteous Mothers love their children so much is because they have sacrificed so much for them. We love those who we sacrifice for; and we sacrifice for those we love. I was thinking about that and I know how much my Mom loves me and how much she has sacrificed for me and how could someone love something or someone more then this? Then I thought about how much the Savior has sacrificed for all of us and how much he must love us all! There isn't anything or anyone that I can think of that has sacrificed more then him. I just wanted to let everyone know that the Savior really did sacrifice a lot for us and he loves us so much, now we need to think about him and sacrifice for him and learn to love him with all of our hearts.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving Day was so wonderful. I love being around all of my family. I know that everytime Thanksgiving comes around everyone always says "I'm thankful for my family." Well I have a new out look on that now. I really am very thankful for my family. I have a very special family that I love so very much. It is kind of sad how you don't relize what you have until its gone. In my case just 2 hours away:)
Mom you are so wonderful, I love the way you always compliment me on whatever it is, you are always looking out for other people no matter what it is. Dad one of the things I love about you is when I am being dramatic you always bring everything into perspective and let me know everything will work out and you usually add in something about praying and getting the lords help. Austin you are so generous when I see how much you help other people it is hard to belive your my brother sometimes. Travis I love the way you treat your family. I look at you and hope that someday when I have a husband he will treat me the way you treat Erin. Erin you have always made everyone feel so special. Anyone that comes over you just go talk to them and make them feel welcome. I love that about you!!! Canyon I love it when you read to me. You are such a good reader and I love to listen to you just fly through those words. Kayli I love it when you give me a hug. I can feel the love as you put those arms around me. Megan I'm thankful that I get to hold you when I come home. ValaRee I'm very thankful for our relationship and that I'm able to talk to you about anything. Wes you always sound like you want to know what is going on in my life and I love that about you. Oaklee I love it when you smile it definately lightens up the room. Derek I love it when I come home and you say hi little sis! It makes me feel like I'm wanted at home. See everyone my family is the best ever!!!!!!!!!

College Life

Here in college I'm learning how to do lots of things. one of the things that I have picked up on is baking! Mom I always thought you were crazy but I will admit it I liked it. The results were even better:) Even though it is hard being away from home doing all this homemaking stuff makes it feel more like home. I'm still not ironing things but that may come in my later years. I do cook things too, that microwave is a wonderful thing I love it! But the microwave will never compare to those home cooked meals.

For one of my classes I had to do some service hours and I chose to volunteer for the special Olympics. I loved it! It was amazing. I met some new friends there.
The competitors were the cutest things ever. There was one guy his name is Bruce he was the sweetest thing ever. He called Camarie gorgeous it was so cute. Well me and Camarie were timers for the swimmers and he was a swimmer and he loved to show his muscles as you can see.
